GB TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR MANCHESTER WORLD INDOOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The UK Sports Association for People with Learning Disability (UKSA), is pleased to reveal the Team representing Great Britain at the 7th INAS World Indoor Athletics Championships in Manchester from 14th – 18th March 2012. Amongst the team will be Stephen Morris from Cardiff, who competes for only the 2nd time internationally. Morris is currently supported by the Disability Sport Wales Academy.

THOMAS SELECTED FOR BOCCIA TEST EVENT

The London Boccia Invitational event, which will act as the Test event for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, will see a Great Britain team which will include Jacob Thomas from Narberth in Pembrokeshire.

Four Welsh Players in Table Tennis Squad

The British Paralympic Association confirmed today that the first ten Table Tennis players have been selected for ParalympicsGB at London 2012. Among the ten are 4 Welsh players, which makes up 40% of the team are from Wales.

WELSH cyclist Mark Colbourne (Tredegar) has been included in the 14-strong British team for the UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships in Los Angeles, taking place on February 9-12.
